Whether you are an experienced angler or a curious traveler, fishing here offers a unique way to connect with local communities, enjoy peaceful river landscapes, and explore Nepal’s wild western frontier.

Itinerary In Detail

  • 1: Arrival to Kathmandu

    Arrival at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport. Meet with the representative, assistance withall formalities while border crossing and transfer to hotel. After welcome refreshments, a short briefing.
    Rest of the day is free for leisure.
    Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

  • 2: Fly to Dhangadi & Drive to Dipyal.

    Early morning flight to Dhangadhi (1 hr & 15 min.) Upon arrival, drive to Dipayal ~ 210 km / 6-7 hrs. Arrive at base camp in late afternoon, set up riverside tents and inspect river-launch plans for the next day.
    Dinner and overnight at Camp.

  • 03~10:: Fishing through various locations.

    These days are dedicated to fishing along the Seti Karnali River across multiple stunning locations. Camps will be shifted periodically as the expedition progresses downstream, allowing participants to experience different fishing environments and river ecosystems. Each day typically includes early morning and late afternoon fishing sessions, with time in between to relax, explore, or enjoy the riverside setting. Evenings are spent at camp, enjoying meals by the fire and sharing the day’s
    experiences.
    Dinner and overnight at Camp.

  • 11: End of fishing trip.

    On the morning of day 11 you finish the final runs and plan to exit the river around 2:00 PM. After exit and a lunch break, drive to Nepalgunj Airport to board the evening flight back to Kathmandu.
    Dinner and overnight at Camp.

  • 12: Free day in Kathmandu.

    Spend a leisure day in Kathmandu or go on a sightseeing tour around ancient Kathmandu City.
    Eve: Farewell dinner.
    Overnight at hotel.

  • 13: Final departure.

    Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until final departure transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport.
    Departure from Kathmandu.
