Itinerary In Detail

  • 1: Arrival in Dhaka

    Arrive Dhaka airport, received by our representative and transferred to designated hotel. Freshen up and (if time permits) we will provide a half day city tour. Stay overnight at hotel

  • 2: Dhaka –Khulna (200 km, 8 hrs including ferry transfer)

    After breakfast, drive to Khulna. Upon arrival, check into designated hotel for overnight stay.

  • 3: Khulna –Sundarban

    Early morning board the reserved ship and cruise through the rivers Mirgamari, Harintana, Shella, etc. The cruise will start at 6-7 am depending on the tides. During this long journey, you will be passing through the various forest islands and of course you can expect to click with your zoom camera to various wildlife including deer, rhesus monkeys, colorful birds especially the great white herons, bald eagles and white or giant crocodiles sunning themselves on the shore. You may also find the Gangetic dolphins playing in the river water dive. If time permits, explore the island during the hike. Overnight on board.

  • 4: Sundarban

    Early morning enjoy a boat ride through small streams and canals. Explore Jamtala Island, famous for the Royal Bengal Tiger and various wild animals and birds. Take a walk to the beach Badamtala. This will be a great experience to follow the Tigers on the track. You will return to the boat and sail for Kachikhali Island, which is very famous for habitat and especially the Tiger domain. An adventurous afternoon walk in the forest stands in the program and as well as in the wide grass lands, where one can easily observe the great herds of deer and wild boar. Overnight on board.

  • 5: Sundarban –Khulna

    Early morning enjoy a boat ride through small streams and canals of Kachikhali Khal to watch colorful birds. You will return to the boat and sail for return towards Khulna in a different way, evergreen forested islands that are not the same, as long as you visited. Upon arrival in Khulna disembark the boat and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

  • 6: Khulna –Bagerhat –Dhaka (220 km, 8.5 hrs drive including ferry transfer)

    After breakfast, start drives for Dhaka via Bagerhat. We will visit in Bagerhat the sixty domed mosque which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The other side of the road is another small mosque, in the traditional brick style. A few miles down the street, is a holy shrine of Saint Khan Jahan Ali (Rah). Then drive continues to Dhaka. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and overnight stay.

  • 7: Dhaka City Tour

    After breakfast go for city tour: visit Armenian Church, walk through the Shakhari Bazaar Hindu streets and experience with the special flavor of typical Hindu culture through this narrow historical passage and old building, you may find people working with shell to make ornaments. Visit the wonderful historical Ahsan Manzil known as “Pink Palace”. Then we will visit Dhakeswari Hindu Temple of 12th century, Shahid Minar –the symbol of sacrifice for mother language, historical Curzon Hall of Dhaka University, Lalbagh Fort of 16th century and National Museum. Stay overnight in Dhaka.

  • 8: After breakfast free at your own and transfer to airport for onward destination.
