Rara Lake Motor Bike Tour: A motorcycle journey to the wilderness of Karnali Trekking Region. Rara Lake and Far Western Region are one of the growing destinations for Trekking in Nepal.

While motorbiking journey in itself is an adventure, the beauty in the wilderness of the Karnali region and Rara Lake makes it even more adventurous. Rara Lake Motor Bike Tour goes to the remote yet spectacular Karnali region in western Nepal. Riding through the winding road and exploring the jagged mountains and remote landscapes of the region makes the journey exciting. The ultimate destination of the trip, Rara Lake, feels like heaven on earth with tranquil beauty and quintessential location. The whole motorbike riding journey to the destination through the river valley, southern plain, and finally stubborn mountain off roads gets rewarded with the peaceful and magnificent beauty of the biggest lake in Nepal. Although the whole journey is far more than exciting, being in the mountains with a massive lake in front is something that you cannot explain in words.

Himalayan Holidays – Nepal has designed the Rara Lake Motorbike Tour Itinerary in such a way that gives an integrated and insightful experience of riding through different parts of Nepal. Although the Karnali region has the least infrastructural facilities due to its tough geographical structure, traveling there is definitely an eye-opening experience. The trip not only takes you to wonderful sceneries but also to some harsh realities of human life and the world.

The pillar was erected over 2200 years ago, making Lumbini the quintessential Buddhist heritage site. Among the prime attractions are the sacred garden with an area of 8 sq. km, the Mayadevi Temple with a bas relief of Mayadevi, the Buddha’s mother and a sacred stone marked with a “foot imprint” of Ashoka. The Ashokan Pillar, the oldest monument so far found in Nepal lies to the west of the Mayadevi Temple. Today only the lower shaft of the pillar stands, the upper past having been split into two. There is no trace of the horse capital. To the south of the pillar is Puskarni, the sacred pond, wherein, Mayadevi is said to have had taken a bath just before giving birth to the Buddha – the Enlightened one.
