There are specialized centers offering meditation course, accommodation, and food. Yoga classes will contribute to the development of a healthy body, a healthy mind, and healthy thought. It also helps one achieve balanced, harmonious and integrated development of all the aspects of their personalities. Yoga is a pathway to true, happy, and healthy living. Yogic training eventually prepares one for spiritual awakening, the supreme aim of human life.

Ayurveda dates back to the Vedic period. Vedas are the oldest recorded documents of human civilization. Ayurveda, the life science, is also the oldest authentically recorded science in existence today. Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word, when translated means “the science of life” or “a natural way of living”. The objective of Ayurveda is to achieve the highest goal of life, the inner and outer dynamic harmony. The dimensions of health are defined as bodily, sensorial, mental, and spiritual health. Traditional and indigenous knowledge has been used for centuries by indigenous and local communities under local laws, customs and traditions. Fundamentally, they follow the Ayurvedic, ethno-botanical, ethno-traditional, tantrik, spiritual and Amchi knowledge. As described in Ayurveda, the Himalayan herbs and medicinal plants are used for healthy body and happy mind!

Itinerary In Detail

  • Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

    Upon arrival in Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, meet Asiatic representative, assist and transfer to the hotel. At the hotel’s lobby welcome refreshments will be served and room check in assistance provided. Shortly afterwards there will be a tour briefing at the hotel’s lobby.

    Eve: Traditional welcome dinner followed by Nepali Cultural Show.
    Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 02: Yoga & Exploration of ancient Kathmandu City.

    Am: Early wake up and participate on Yoga & Meditation

    Am: After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City. It includes visit to the Bouddhanath Stupa, the biggest stupa in Nepal. This is also called by many as Khasti Chitya, is one of the oldest stupas in the country. The stupa, a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site, is included in World Heritage Cultural site list by UNESCO. With diameter of about 100m and 40m height, Buddhanath holds its place among the largest stupas in the world.
    Later continue to Bhaktapur City, literally the “City of Devotees”, is renowned for its elegant art, fabulous culture, colorful festivals, traditional dances and the typical Newari lifestyle. Here explore the Royal Palace, the Golden Gate, and the entrance to the Palace of 55 Windows, known as the most significant piece of art in Nepal. Then visit the highest temple in the entire Kathmandu Valley- the Nyatapola Temple. This is also listed on a UNISCO world heritage site. After sightseeing transfer back to hotel.

  • Day 03: Drive to Kurintar en-route enjoy white water rafting on the Trishuli River – 100 Km / 3~4 hrs.

    Am: Yoga & Meditation class.

    After breakfast, start 3hours scenic drive to Kurintar, situated in the bank of Trishuli River. En route stop at Charaudi (raft starting point) where there will be a short briefing followed by some demonstrations related with white water rafting.

    Shortly afterwards, commence exciting white water rafting in the Trishuli River for about 3 hours till we reach Kurintar (raft ending point). Initially, we begin with small rapids and soon catch up with bigger ones.

    Bid farewell to your rafting crew short walk to River Side Resort for changing and Refreshment. Rest of the day is free to enjoy the surrounding beauty.

  • Day 04: Cable Car ride to Manakamana Temple and drive to Nagdanda (120 km / 4 hrs.) - 1,600 m / 5,248 ft.

    Am: Yoga & meditation class.

    After breakfast get into the waiting vehicle and transfer to Cable Car station to board the Cable Car ride to famed Manakamana Temple “Goddess of wish fulfilling”. After the excursion return back to Cable car station and continue drive to Pokhara for lunch. After lunch continue to Nagdanda, upon arrival check in at hotel.

    Overnight at Himalayan Deurali Resort.

  • Day 05: Transfer to Kande and Hike to Australian Camp (1,900 m / 6,232 ft.)

    Am: Yoga & meditation class.

    After late breakfast continue to Kande (trek starting point) and start hike to Australian Camp . The trek starts immediately walking through the Kande village than with a gentle climb through mixed forests until we arrive in Australian Camp. During the clear weather one can have a magnificent views of the Annapurna Himalaya including Annapurna South (7,219m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), Mardi Himal (5,587 m) and Macchapucchare (6,993m) to the north. Spend and relaxing afternoon!

  • Day 06: Trek to Dhampus Village (1,700 m /5,576 ft.) – 2 hrs.

    Am: Yoga and meditation class and spend a leisure morning while enjoying the surrounding beauty.

    After late breakfast start a short hike to Dhampus village, initially walk through the village and descend down through the dense forest of Rhododendron, once you down take a right trail mostly through the Pine and Juniper forest, until you reach to Dhampus Village with a maze of houses and alleyways of stonewalls.

    Pm: In the afternoon walk around this village to understand the rural lifestyle of people living in the Countryside.

    Eve: Meditation and Yoga Class.
    Dinner and overnight at teahouse lodge.

  • Day 07: Trek to Astham Village (1,600 m /5,576 ft.) – 3 hrs.

    Am: Yoga and meditation class.

    After late breakfast start trek to Astham Village, trail is gentle through the villages. Upon arrival check in at a room. Upon arrival check in at a lodge for lunch. Rest of the day is free for some rest or you can stroll around the village.

  • Day 08: Trek to Hyangja and drive to Pokhara.

    Am: Yoga and meditation class.

    After breakfast start downhill trek to Milanchock, where you can meet your waiting vehicle. Shortly afterwards drive to Pokhara. This is an enchanting city nestled in the tranquil valley (827m) on the laps of the mighty Annapurna Himalayan Range. With its beautiful lakes, lush green surroundings and fantastic views of the Annapurna range including the Fish Tail Mountain; it is considered one of nature’s finest gifts to Nepal.

    Upon arrival check in at hotel for short rest and refreshment, later walk to lakeside restaurant for lunch.

    Pm: Post lunch proceed for an excursion of Pokhara City which includes the tour of visit to the, giant statue of Lord Shiva, Davis Falls, Tibetan Refugee Camp and World’s peace Stupa.

    Eve: Yoga and meditation class.
    Overnight at Lakeside Hotel.

  • Day 09: Drive to Chitwan National Park (176 km / 4 hrs.)

    Am: Yoga and meditation session

    After breakfast, start drive to Chitwan National Park. It is listed in UNISCO World Heritage Nature Site established in 1973, which is now the home of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish. This park is renewed for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bangal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile.

    Upon arrival room check in followed by heartily Lunch. Post lunch your naturalist will brief you about your Jungle Adventure Plan for next 2 days. Shortly afterward join your Naturalist for various wildlife and Cultural activities offered by your wildlife Resort.

    Dinner and overnight at Wildlife Resort.

  • Day 10: Full Day Jungle Activities

    Am: Yoga and meditation class.

    Early wakeup call and proceed for an elephant ride or Jeep Safari or a jungle walk, to view the wildlife in their early repose. This is the best time of the day to see the animals as we silently brush through dewy tall elephant grass (18-20 ft. tall), a habitat for rhinos, tigers and other wild animals. After spending several hours in Jungle return back to hotel for late breakfast and rest.

    In the noon visit the elephant stables to get a firsthand knowledge on elephants from senior naturalists.
    After a hearty lunch at camp, the afternoon is free for the much-deserved mid- afternoon siesta or a visit to the library for general in formations on the National park.

    In the late afternoon, there is a choice to participate in the programs offered at the camp, which includes jungle drives, Canoe rides/ floats or an escorted Nature walk and bird watching excursion.

    Eve: Yoga and meditation session.
    Dinner and overnight at Jungle Resort in Chitwan.

  • Day 11: Fly to Kathmandu (25 min) & transfer to hotel.

    Am: Yoga and meditation class.

    After breakfast, transfers to Pokhara Domestic Airport (15 minutes) and take a scenic 25 minutes flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu meet, assist and transfer to hotel for Check-In.

    Pm: Walk around beautiful and Thamel Bazaar for shopping and enjoy lunch at nice restaurant (on own)
    Eve: Yoga and meditation session.
    Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 12: Final Departure

    Free until final departure transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport.
