Upon arrival in Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, meet Asiatic Roads representative, assist and transfer to the hotel. At the hotel’s lobby welcome refreshments will be served and room check in assistance provided. Shortly afterwards there will be a tour briefing at the hotel’s lobby.

Am: After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City. It includes visit to the Bouddhanath Stupa, the biggest stupa in Nepal. This is also called by many as Khasti Chitya, is one of the oldest stupas in the country. The stupa, a well-known Buddhist pilgrimage site, is included in World Heritage Cultural site list by UNESCO. With diameter of about 100m and 40m height, Buddhanath holds its place among the largest Stupa in the world!

Later proceed to Pashupatinath Temple, with its astonishing architectural beauty, stands as a symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition. Regarded as the most sacred temple of Hindu Lord Shiva in the world, Pashupatinath Temple’s existence dates back to 400 A.D. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga or phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple that is also known as ‘The Temple of Living Beings’, which is listed UNESCO world heritage Site.

After visiting Pashupatinath Temple proceed for sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square. Listed as one of the eight Cultural World Heritage site by UNESCO, Kathmandu Durbar Square is a cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to the 12th and 18th centuries. The square is known to be the social, religious and urban focal point of the Capital City. The Palace Complex was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and was the site of important ceremonies, such as the coronation of the Nepalese monarch. We can also visit Temple of Living Goddess “Kumari”, and the Kasthamandap Temple, which is believed to be constructed from the wood of a single tree from which Kathmandu derives its name.

After breakfast, start 3hours scenic drive to Kurintar, situated in the bank of Trishuli River. En route stop at Charaudi (raft starting point) where there will be a short briefing followed by some demonstrations related with white water rafting.

Shortly afterwards, commence exciting white water rafting in the Trishuli River for about 3 hours till we reach Kurintar (Raft ending point). Initially, we begin with small rapids and soon catch up with bigger ones.

Bid farewell to your rafting crew short walk to River Side Resort for changing and Refreshment. Rest of the day is free to enjoy the surrounding beauty.

After breakfast check out from Summit River Lodge and walk to road head to meet the waiting vehicle. Shortly afterward get into the waiting vehicle and proceed to Cable Car station to board the Cable Car ride to famed Manakamana Temple “Goddess of wish fulfilling”. After the excursion return back to Cable car station and start drive to Chitwan National Park. It is listed in UNISCO World Heritage Nature Site established in 1973, which is now the home of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish. This park is renewed for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bangal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile.

Upon arrival room check in followed by heartily Lunch. Post lunch your naturalist will brief you about your Jungle Adventure Plan for next 2 days. Shortly afterward join your Naturalist for various wildlife and Cultural activities offered by your wildlife Resort.

Early wakeup call and proceed for an elephant ride or Jeep Safari or a jungle walk, to view the wildlife in their early repose. This is the best time of the day to see the animals as we silently brush through dewy tall elephant grass (18-20 ft. tall), a habitat for rhinos, tigers and other wild animals. After spending several hours in Jungle return back to hotel for late breakfast and rest.

In the noon visit the elephant stables to get a firsthand knowledge on elephants from senior naturalists.
After a hearty lunch at camp, the afternoon is free for the much-deserved mid- afternoon siesta or a visit to the library for general in formations on the National park.

In the late afternoon, there is a choice to participate in the programs offered at the camp, which includes jungle drives, Canoe rides/ floats or an escorted Nature walk and bird watching excursion.

After breakfast check out from Jungle lodge and start drive to ancient Bandipur Village – An ancient Newari mountain town is a treasure waiting to be discovered by travellers. Situated 7k.m. above Dumbre Bazaar at an altitude of 1,005 meters, this ancient trading post lies cradled in the saddle of some of the country’s most peculiar-shaped hills. Untouched by modernization, and laced with an abundance of ancient houses, temples of great significance, and historical architecture, this medieval-era town boasts festivals all year around, besides plethora of cultural offerings. Neighboring Magar, Gurung, Bahun, Chhetri, Damai and Sarki villages all contribute to the cultural diversity of the region. The hilltop town not only overlooks the incredible expanse of the Marsyanngdi river valley, but also offers a breathtaking sweep of the Himalayan range, from Langtang in the east to Dhaulagiri in the west. From nearby hilltops, one can see as far as Manakamana and Gorkha to east the great Chitwan plains to the south, among others. Once a bustling commercial center along the trade route linking Tibet with British welcome travellers from near and far. While the Siddha Gufa (the largest cavern in the country) and Patali Dwar (a.k.a. the Gateway to Heaven) are must-sees, this place also offers endless hiking possibilities in the surrounding hills.

After excursion and lunch at Bandipur village start drive to Pokhara, which is an enchanting city nestled in the tranquil valley (827m) on the laps of the mighty Annapurna Himalayan Range. With its beautiful lakes, lush green surroundings and fantastic views of the Annapurna range including the Fish Tail Mountain; it is considered one of nature’s finest gifts to Nepal. Upon arrival check in at a hotel for some rest and refreshment.

Eve: Stroll around colorful Lakeside Bazaar and dine at a nice restaurant (on your own)

Am: Pre-dawn wakeup call and drive to Sarangkot to view a magnificent sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayan Range. Drive duration-30 minutes and 45 minutes hiking. View the sunrise and return back to the hotel for breakfast.

Am: After breakfast go on a sightseeing tour of Pokhara Valley, which includes visit to the, giant statue of Lord Shiva, Davis Falls, Tibetan Refugee Camp and World’s peace Stupa.

Pm: Boat rides on the Lake Phewa and visit beautiful Barahi Temple situated on the center of Lake Phewa.

After breakfast, transfers to Pokhara Domestic Airport (15 minutes) and take a scenic 25 minutes flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival get into the waiting vehicle and drive to Nagarkot, which is tucked away in the upper reaches of Kathmandu Valley, is 32 km. east of Kathmandu situated at an altitude of 2,175 m. Besides being a popular location for its spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the Himalayas, Nagarkot also offers the panoramic view of the major peaks of the eastern Nepal Himalayas including Mt. Everest (weather permitting).

En-route stop in Bhaktapur for sightseeing, literally the “City of Devotees”, is renowned for its elegant art, fabulous culture, colorful festivals, traditional dances and the typical Newari lifestyle. Here explore the Royal Palace, the Golden Gate, and the entrance to the Palace of 55 Windows, known as the most significant piece of art in Nepal. Then visit the highest temple in the entire Kathmandu Valley- the Nyatapola Temple. This is also listed on a UNISCO world heritage site. After lunch continue to Nagarkot.

Eve: You may go on a short hike or drive up to view point or take an evening siesta while enjoying the surrounding beauty

Free until final departure transfer to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport.
